It doesn’t rely on someone having PowerPoint, or even having the fonts you use. It can be viewed on Mac’s, PC’s and some e-book readers.

You can do the PowerPoint first and then save/export that file as a pdf and set compression too, so that your file will also be smaller, again making it easier to deliver digitally.
